Every now and then you need a shift. You must unsettle and disrupt things to start anew and fresh.
I felt this feeling coming. I had to move things about in my life to find the change I desired. This led to a two week long dive into the Chinese art of feng shui. The practice involves the five element cycle and eight aspirational directions (pa kua). The harmony and balance of these factors in relation to your chi.
Feng shui isn't something that is new to me, but I hadn't visited it in awhile. Of the two schools of thought of feng shui, I much prefer the compass theory. It uses the pa kua over the bagua, but neither is wrong per se.
The journey inspired me to explore my findings & perspective with you here on the blog. Consider how you might desire to shift your surroundings to support what you desire. Would you re-arrange your home? Get rid of some things? Buy new things?
The changes made have been instrumental to my feelings since. It wasn't a miraculous or overnight change, but the simple de-cluttering did wonders.
