We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right. ~ Nelson MandelaMy relationship with time seems to always be a tricky one. Rushing by or dragging along these phrases make it seem like there is never a good or right time for anything. But of course that isn't true at all, because the illusion that time is anything but what it is is false. The present time is the only time there is, and ultimately all that matters! The Proper Use of ForceVenus enters Aries (4/5, 12:50 pm EDT). This energy gives the loving & gentle planet a more forceful & direct approach. There's no waiting and consideration, and bluntness can strike without seeming notice. This "tough love" approach can be helpful if you've been pussyfooting around your feelings on a matter or situation. Mercury enters Taurus (4/5, 7:09 pm EDT). While the energy of Aries with Venus lends rushing in and being super direct, stalwart Taurus in Mercury encourages careful thought. Taking your time to speak & think from a grounded perspective will do wonders to curb any of the rashness of Aries, if only a bit. For Your ConsiderationAs we pass into April the Universal Month energy shifts from 3 to 4, while still retaining the overarching energy of the 9 Universal Year. All of the energy you may have benefited from in March seems to grind to a rather slow ambling. With the energy of 4 it's time to plan and hit the drawing board to refine any execution of action. Be wary you don't get crowded in the mundane details so much that you forget to take action however! Coupling the energy of the year & month together, you may find yourself super, duper reflective as you consider: What you've done and what still needs doing. The best course of action is to get as much as you can off of your plate consistently throughout the year, and focus on the present energy by creating a concrete plan on how to do that! True Practical ApplicationExperimenting with scheduling has yielded some interesting results. While I'll pretty much always advocate self-care first, the plain facts are that obligations have to be met. And if you can lessen yours so that you can consistently meet them, great! But ultimately you have to do what works for you and that varies from person to person! I've finally settled into a groove that I think will work better than the "strictly" self-care schtick I was attempting. But just so I don't rush off in Ram-crazy (hey Aries, I see you...) I've gotten the lovely cropping up of my allergies to remind me, in between sneezing, to focus on one thing at a time! Marinating in the Mental CrockpotThe main focus lately has been to axe things off the business to do list. As it stands I made most excellent headway the other night, I got that second wind and was raring to go. The babe sleeping peacefully through the night certainly didn't hurt either! But even with this focus there are a lot of things I've got in the ole mental crockpot including more immersive classes and a planner system... An Axe to Grind With the MindBecause I'm ever the overachiever I've had to wrestle with that as I have doggedly been working on things. Needless to say the concept of FOMO came up in reference to my to do list which I've put on a rather strict diet. In reality this concept and what it means in my life isn't anything new, but it's well worth remembering as it likes to stick it's big nose into everything! In the comments below, share with me...
