Meditation is something I believe is very important. Being present and mindful has a wonderful and positive affect on our minds and bodies. But sometimes we need a guide and a little direction as we move to quiet the mind...
I'm all about a self-help book. I'm all about awareness. But as Marie says, Insight without action is worthless. (Click to tweet!) So we're going to take a journey, an 81 week journey, through the wisdom of the Tao.
This isn't the first time its been done, and if you want to follow along with me, I can tell you that Dr. Wayne Dyer's book Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life is a great primer for the Tao Te Ching and to get started if you're not familiar with it. I'm also using the Tao Te Ching: A New Translation & Commentary by Ralph Alan Dale.
Using a little bibliomancy (the use of a sacred book for divination). I've started choosing a trigram to focus and meditate on personally...and then I got the grandest of ideas. Why not invite you to come with me? Usually I go through such journeys all by my lonesome.
