HTT: Bless the Immovable

See the blessing in all things.

When you're stuck, take a moment to be present.  How does it feel? What is really going on? Where in your body can you feel the energy?  What are you missing?  What else needs your attention?

Sometimes that which seems immovable is merely a shifting of direction.
I should be at my day job right now.  I should be minding after someone, helping them get through their day.  But I'm not, I'm home working and now talking to you...

I've been having a personal battle for the past twelve years that I didn't even know about.  I have been stuck in the resistance.  Feeling things are happening to me rather than through me.  It's a powerless feeling and not anything but horribly unsettling.

I went off to my day job, just to suffer a miscommunication error.  (Thank you Mercury Retrograde.)  I was sent home ~ not that I am upset about that but we can't call it convenient.  I chose to not be upset about it however, see the thanks and blessing in the fact that I now had time to do other things that were pressing to me.  And now in that comes this epiphany.

Sometimes we must simple be, sit, and experience.  There is no making or creating, but merely an observance of the energy.  It puts things in perspective, points out where we need to work on ourselves and brings shadows to light we might have been ignoring.

Given the fact that the energy of tomorrow is ruled by the shifting of the New Moon into Cancer, I cannot say I'm surprised.  Furthermore, there is a certain level of introspection associated with Mercury Retrograde, which will be finishing up this coming Tuesday about 9 in the morning.  And then there is the shift of the cycles of the numbers from this month to the next come Tuesday as well.

All this new energy means that the old has to be settled out and cast off.  Therefore the tension and brief points of upset.  As June passes the energy of 6 turns into the energy of 7.  We shift from caring for others and ourselves, keeping up with things in a motherly fashion and into that of a deep reflection and introspection.  Ask the big questions, sit and meditate.  Connect with that deep inner knowing...
