Alexis' Bio: I'm an intuitive strategist & leadership trainer. I specialize in business, career, and money issues and have been called an Olympic coach for entrepreneurs & entrepreneurially-minded career folk for my ability to unearth and unfold people's natural brilliance. 1. What modality/intuitive skill do you use? (Include titles as relevant.) I'm a multi-sensory intuitive/mediumistic channel - the only way my intuition *doesn't* communicate with me, usually, is taste and smell. As an energy worker, I am influenced by a number of practices & sources - including magical ones - but I have a particular fondness for EFT as well as my take on Chinese Elemental Clearing, as taught by Limitless Megan. 2. How long have you been practicing? I've been sensitive since I was a child, but I've been a practicing professional intuitive for 4.5 years. 3. How did you get involved with this work? Accidentally - and it's an extremely long story. I set out for university intent on being a human rights lawyer or a therapist, and I ended up falling in love with business and figuring out nope, not crazy, just have a predisposition for intuition. It took me a very long time and lots of knocks on the head to figure out that part of my lessons and missions whilst here involved putting these skills to work - but I eventually came around and found my home. I know for a fact that my purpose in life is to guide the people who often need inspiration, insight & guidance from On High - politicians, business leaders big and small, creative visionaries- to their fullest and best selves so we can get off the shit track this planet has been on and onto something that surpasses our own wildest imagination. 4. Who (in your field) inspires you the most? Hands down, Fabeku Fantunmise. He is a significant part of my professional lineage and I owe a great debt to him for showing me (and thus, enabling me to show my clients) that there ARE different, deep and truthful ways of conducting business and a career. I am grateful for his wisdom & his willingness to share his insights and ashe. 5. Who (outside of your field) inspires you the most? Kelly Cutrone. To be 100% honest? She's the first person I've ever considered to be a true, sincere business role model when it comes to thinking of "A-Listers" or whatever the fuck. I had mad respect for her and I hope that we cross paths professionally someday. 6. What is your favorite modality/intuitive skill? Hmmm...tough question! Mediumship - because it's SO flexible in its applications (if you do mediumship how I do mediumship)...and Tarot, because it's also super flexible. Megamega useful. 7. Do you use any tools in your work? My pendulum will make appearances for energy work. Other times I use cards. Tools have yet to become bedrocks of my practice, even though I started off reading Tarot. 8. Where do you work? (You can also submit a picture of your working space or building if you work outside the home.) At home or at a coffee shop, depending on what I'm doing. Client work is never done in public. 9. Do you keep regular hours or appointment only? Appointment only ;). 10. Do you sell any healing or intuitive products, books, etc? Not yet! You should totally join my mailing list for more movement on that front, though. 11. What keeps you grounded and centered in your work? Knowing that it has nothing to do with me. I am the vessel equipped with the tools. My mission is to get my job done, 100%. 12. Do you have a website? blog? Facebook profile or fan page? Myspace? Twitter? Pinterest? I have a website, also a personal Facebook page, as well as being on Instagram & Pinterest! 13. What advice do you have for budding healers/intuitives? BE YOURSELF. And stop trying to force the love+light schtick if it's really not your thing. But I'm biased as fuck, though. And, put you first. Seriously. 14. What is your best self-health/intuitive development advice? Always be a little bit of a dick (with kindness.) Alexis P. Morgan (main website) In the comments below, share with me...
