My Healing Philosophy
“I like helping people and I find that the best way to help people is to help them help themselves. Because when you help people develop good habits and behaviors they live better and can see what their good choices do for them and have joy in those choices.”
Rev. Naware Danaus, RMT
(Before "treating" or even "diagnosing", it is important to explain your background to the client and your healing philosophy.)
Food For Thought: How do you know whether an "illness" is mental or spiritual?

I want to take a holistic approach in my healing and I well recognize that if you only take a one sided approach you will get minimal results.
I think that a less invasive approach should be taken first (with clearing and cleansing) of the person's mind, body, and environs before moving onto to a more drastic and invasive approach.
As is so duly noted in The Reiki Handbook in the story of Reiki, one cannot heal just the spirit or just the body. When you do this, there is still a deep aching within and the process really serves no good purpose.
So this, therefore, calls me to look from a much more holistic approach to your health. Looking not only at the energy of your Self, but those around you, your environment, etc.
It is my staunch belief that before you begin to change something you should understand why it is there. Is it a natural tendency in your energy patterns (you may look to your astrological signs and numerology to see this). Or is it a learned trait (you can use kinesiology, astrological aspects, chakras, and doshas to see this).
Consider your daily habits - how might these things affect your energies...
*What is the yin/yang of your home (consult Feng Shui...)
*What is the history of your home? (If you don't know it you should more than likely cleanse.)
*What are the dynamics of your family life? (Look at Western Astrology and the angles your Sun Signs make to one another.)
Consider your thoughts on peace and balance. How do your views fit your lifestyle? Where do you think there are inconsistencies? How could they be fixed?
Consider the "negative" side of your personality. What characteristic "bad habits" do you possess? How might your surroundings be exacerbating these things?
What is your support system like? How are your eating and sleeping habits? How would you gauge your stress levels and coping mechanisms?
If you see faults in any of these things - think, carefully and closely (as only you can do this) of where and when you may have developed these habits. Why do you think you did???
Before resolving these issues, decide what you really think about them. What is really "wrong" with the habit? Can you look at it in another light? Would it be considered more positive in that way? Why or why not? Consider: is this habit "bad" no matter what? If not, perhaps you just need to express it in a different form. Or practice it only in moderation.
There is also the factor of teaching and learning through illness. Sometimes we are drawn to certain circumstances because in dealing with those there is a greater learning on the soul level. It was one's choice to experience this lesson in this way. There is no blame placed, merely another perspective. This can be the case when one has done everything they could and finds that the illness or "dis-ease" is still present.
A Note From Me: I'm developing my own thoughts on healing. I think for any health practitioner that your clientele should know you, your background, and philosophies before pursuing any kind of treatment or therapy. Because it does no good if the two really disagree with one another. I believe in a holistic approach, but I don't necessarily agree with all "New Age" manners of healing.
Combining the elements to get a greater manner for me to serve others as a practitioner...
*A Note to Clientele:
(1) The concept of time in a tarot reading and the effect of free will mean that tarot readings are "only good for so long" at which point they are no longer valid.
(2) All treatments do not give the same result for all people all the time. (Chaos Theory & "Medicine")
