Crystal Therapy
Stone or Crystal Therapy (using semi-precious stones and not to be confused with the type of stones used in Lastone Therapy, and other similar, Hot Stone Massage) can be done in conjunction with other therapies, including herbal, sound, Reiki, massage, aromatherapy just to name a few. Those who are energetically sensitive - as with other energy healing modalities - may note some sensations with the use of a stone(s) and this is perfectly normal. However, even if you do not notice anything this does not mean the stone isn't performing on a healing level for you. The physical is the "lowest" level of perception and one we are most readily (on average) acquainted with so our focus usually concerns this - however some healing must start on "higher" levels and trickle down into the physical body. Crystal therapy deals with not only the make up of a stone, but it's color and traditional uses that have been passed down throughout centuries. Crystals may be carried with the client (in a purse or pocket) or laid on the individual in a healing session. Stones can also be used in the house to protect against astral influences and the buildup of negative energies.
I offer the use of both physical and ethereally placed crystal healing. With physical stones the client has something to feel and see physically, whereas with the ethereally placed ones the stone is neither felt nor seen with the physical senses. Each method has it's benefits and it will be determined by the healer which method, if not both, is best for a given person. A good thing to note is that you cannot "overuse" an ethereal stone - they are set to dissolved when they are no longer needed - whereas you have to remember to not have the stone physically if you are using a real stone.
I offer various services concerning crystal therapy. One may request a "stone workup" in which a complaint or group of complaints is researched for stones and methods using stones to treat. The workup details the use of certain stones as a treatment method and in what way to use the stones. This service is ideal for those interested in providing self-care which may be supplemental to formal treatment or as a stand alone practice. The use of stones is effective with various other therapies, such as color therapy, herbs, Reiki, etc. No previous knowledge of stones or crystals is required. Stone therapy can also be used as a preventative care measure.
When I work with you I like to use a combination of physical and ethereal crystals (the latter is also available to be done at a distance). Both have their benefits and they can be practiced together. For those interested, there are also Ethereal Crystals classes given.
What are crystals?
A crystal is defined as: 1) a piece of a homogeneous solid substance having a naturally geometrically regular form with symmetrically arranged plane faces & 2) any solid consisting of a symmetrical, ordered, three-dimensional aggregation of atoms or molecules.
About Crystal Therapy
Crystal therapy is the use of crystals or stones in a healing setting. There are many ways to accomplish this: by laying on physically of stones, the use of ethereal stones, carrying a stone around one's person, wearing stone jewelry, setting up a crystal grid, placing stones in and around the home - with the intention of healing.
How can Crystal Therapy help me?
Crystal therapy does many things to balance out the body's subtle energies and realign one into a state of balance. While there is not a single stone that will just "fix" you (as we are a sum of our past, any ill health may be contributed to on several different levels), the use of stones can start and aid the healing process.
Working with crystals can:
Stones can be used to help people of all ages, though stones for children may need to be used for a far shorter time or in a different form than the same stone for the same problem with an adult. This is partially due to the fact that a young child's energy patterns are more susceptible to change (eg they haven't become as set in their ways and conditioning and reprogramming can be easier for them).
Can I do this at home?
Going to a healer is great, but preventative medicine is even better. Here are some tips for using crystals at home and on your own. Remember however, that if you have questions it is not unwise to direct your questions to a qualified crystal healer (some therapies do have degrees and certifications others do not, check with your practitioner beforehand if you have a preference).
Important to note is that a healer may be more psychically attuned to certain messages you may need from certain stones regarding the past, present, or future. A good practitioner should work with you to get you the care that you need, respecting your boundaries but giving good direction. We are all in charge of our own health, but sometimes help is needed!
